Superior Partners

City of Houghton - Houghton is one of the best 100 places to live, according to "The 100 Best Small Towns In America," by Norman Crampton. Situated on the hills bordering the beautiful Portage Waterway, Houghton offers a bounty of recreational opportunities all year long. Our renowned waterfront provides adventure and relaxation for a multitude of interests and is supplemented by various neighborhood parks and trails.

Michigan Technological University - Michigan Tech has gained worldwide recognition for innovative education and scholarship. Leadership Partners

Finlandia University - Since 1896, the Finlandia University campus community has been committed to improving the lives of its students and the lives of the people in its community—locally, regionally, and even internationally. Finlandia University (formerly Suomi College) is the only private university in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, and one of 26 colleges and universities affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). It is the only university in North America founded by Finnish immigrants. Located in Hancock, Finlandia is a learning community dedicated to academic excellence, spiritual growth, and service. Bachelor and associate degrees are earned by students in two schools and two colleges serving the disciplines of art and design, business, liberal studies, and health sciences. The university is a member of NCAA Division III.

Aspirus Keweenaw - Aspirus Keweenaw is a leader in health care excellence in the Upper Peninsula. Today, the Aspirus Keweenaw system spans seven locations – Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital in Laurium, three clinic locations in Laurium, Houghton and Lake Linden, two outpatient therapy clinics, and FastCare at Shopko in Houghton. With access in and around the Keweenaw, Aspirus is focused on helping the community live happier, healthier lives. Key areas of specialty health care include: Women’s Health, Oncology, Orthopedics, Cardiology, Pediatrics, Outpatient Therapy, General Surgery, Emergency Care and Diabetes. Aspirus Keweenaw’s medical staff is supported by on-site, state-of-the-art technology to help identify, diagnose and treat a variety of health conditions. Aspirus Keweenaw is an active community partner, sponsoring several events throughout the year. Among the organization’s most recognized events include the Copperman Triathlon in Copper Harbor and the Great Deer Chase mountain bike race in Calumet.

City of Hancock -  The City of Hancock, founded in the 1850's by early copper explorers, is a progressive and welcoming City of 4,600 residents on the North shore of Portage Lake, and is the northernmost City in Michigan. Hancock has beautiful summers and because of its proximity to majestic Lake Superior, it has wonderfully snowy winters. Today, a diverse economy and employment is supported by two Universities, Finlandia University and Michigan Tech University, along with the Michigan Tech SmartZone, and Portage Health. Hancock is recognized as the regional center for healthcare, with over 1400 jobs in the City connected to healthcare.

Keweenaw Mountain Lodge -  The Keweenaw Mountain Lodge is a wilderness resort at the top of the Keweenaw, with history that dates back to 1934. While your in the Keweenaw, stay with them in one of their log cabins, eat a meal, enjoy a number of outdoor activities in the area, including their 9 hole golf course Or plan an event with them - weddings, staff retreat, or a conference.

Michigan Tech Employees Federal Credit Union - MTEFCU was chartered in 1952 and has been providing our members with quality financial services for over 60 yrs. Membership in our credit union is not limited to Michigan Tech Employees. Pat's Foods - Ben and Joe Campioni who are fourth-generation grocers in the Campioni Family, own and operate 6 grocery stores in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan-“The U.P”.  Out of the six locations, they also have expanded into offering hardware at two of their locations-Festival Foods in Houghton, MI and U-Save River Center in downtown Ontonagon, MI.  They pride themselves in great customer service and maintaining their hometown proud quality that represents itself as you walk into any of their locations.


Superior Caregivers  - The owners are both Michigan RN's and have graduated with honors from Finlandia University. Both have worked years at various homes for the aged and saw a growing need for seniors who wish to remain in their home but could not without a little assistance. That is where we can help!
Daily services can include anything from meal preparation, bathing, cleaning, and supervision. We will take the time to get to know you and develop an individualized care plan that fits your specific needs.
