■ Expect large water holes up to 2 feet in depth the last 1.5 miles to the point. We will not be able to fill and freeze them until the point receives more snow. We do not recommend riding this trail.
○ Trail 122 open to Gay
■ We will be sharing a small portion of 122 with logging this winter—from the post road through Camp 4 road. It is well signed.
■ Please yield to log trucks and proceed cautiously through the area or risk having the trail closed. Expect low snow, water holes, and extensive tree debris on the trail.
○ Trail 152
○ Trail 153
○ Gates may be closed on private property until the groomers make it to open a trail. Please respect these closures until the groomers open gates.

○ Trail 3 from Toivola to Calumet and Mohawk to Copper Harbor
○ Trail 17
○ Trail 135
○ Trail 134 from 135 junction to Clear Lake.

Cross Country Skiing & Fat Tire Trail Updates
● Michigan Tech – Only had time for the Uppers and Hairpin this morning. They are groomed and tracked. Conditions are Great!(12/14/2025)
● Swedetown – Good morning! I groomed and re-set track again in the Husky today, to groom in the ~1.5 inches of fresh snow we got again overnight. It is looking real pretty out here, this snow should set up extremely well today due to the high moisture and cold temps. A shortened section of Relentless is now open, though it is still going to be very soft and there are a few more downed branches to be cut, so please use caution. I am waiting to open the full sections of Relentless, Tamarack, and Papa bear until we get a little bit more snow. The MUT loops are fully open as well now, they have been rolled and packed well. Come out and ski! We will be holding two volunteer work crew days this week on Tuesday and Wednesday, from 12 noon - 3 pm, focusing on clearing tree damage on Papa Bear. Please meet at the Chalet at noon, feel free to bring extra tools! RSVP to dean@woodbeck.org to let us know you are coming. Enjoy your ski! (12/14/2025)
● Swedetown Snow Bike - Hi all! Now that most of the Ski trails are opened up, we can start focusing on opening up Snowbike trails. Due to the high winds and heavy snow that fell during that first storm of the season, there is a LOT of tree damage that needs to be cleared in order for that to happen. Groomers will be working on loops 1-3 this week, but any and all volunteer help that we can get would be MUCH appreciated. In case you are not aware, snowbike trails are marked with orange paint on the trees on the right hand side of the trail. Old markings were blue on the right and yellow on the left, which is still current in many spots, but other sections have been re-routed, so trust the orange. Feel free to go clear on your own, otherwise please reach out to Dean@woodbeck.org to let us know that you might be interested in helping us out. Thanks for your patience! (12/14/2025)
● Chassell Ski Trails- Actuators working again!(12/14/2025)
● Chassell Snowshoe Trails - 4" of snow last night and 1" today. Green Trail done. Orange Trail done except for one short section. Bottom 2/3 of Blue ready. Lower half of Yellow ready. Overall, sections not done yet should still be fairly well defined unless in drift prone areas, especially near Dean's and McKrain's fields at the NW end of the Yellow Trail loop. Really nice day to be out in the for me at least. (12/13/2025)
● Churning Rapids & Maasto – All trails that have been cleared are rolled and tracked. (12/14/2025)
● Churning Rapids Snow Bike - Trails groomed Saturday evening. Everything was packed except for the South Basswood trail that has not been cleared of trees yet. High Point Road is still the best access point as the ski trails on the city side have only been rolled (not firm enough for riding yet). (12/14/2025)
● Eagle Harbor – No update. (12/1/2025)
● Copper Harbor Trails Club "End of the Road Trails"
