Office hours during the year will be Wednesday afternoon from 12 to 3 p.m.
Driving Directions:
Take US 41 from the Portage Lake Lift Bridge, to Ethel Avenue and proceed to Ingot Street, turn left (west) to the fairgrounds on the corner of Ingot and Birch. Ticket booth is in the parking lot.
The Houghton County Fair is held the weekend before Labor Day weekend every August at 1500 Birch Street in Hancock, Michigan.
Meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. in the SISU Room of the Houghton County Arena in Hancock.
Attendance averages 25,000 people for the 4 day county fair.
Youth exhibitors range in age from 7 to 19 as of Dec. 31st of the current year.
Open class exhibitors are 7 years old and above.
Cloverbuds, aged 5 and 6, can enter one or more items that they have made for a participation ribbon.
